What areas do you deliver to?

We deliver wedding cakes to venues throughout the North West, including Bolton and surrounding areas.

Do you supply cake bases or stands?

We can supply cake bases for £10 and stands for £15. A deposit of £50 is required for bases and £75 for stands but this is refunded to you when the base or stand is returned to us with 3 days after the wedding undamaged.

Can I have any tiers of my wedding cake made in sponge?

Your wedding cake can be all fruit, all sponge or a combination of both. Any sponge tiers can be plain, lemon, chocolate sponge or carrot cake.

We recommend that any sponge tiers be used on the day and not kept, we don't add any preservatives or additives to our freshly baked sponges.

How long have you been creating wedding cakes?

We have been creating unique and personalised wedding cakes for over 25 years.

Do you use a cake mix for either your wedding fruit cake or sponges?

No we never use any pre-prepared mixes, we mix each individually and to order. Whether fruit or sponge, we use seperate ingredients. Our wedding fruit cake is actually our very own 'secret' recipe.

I don't like certain ingredients in weddiing cakes, can some of these be left out?

Yes our wedding fruit cakes are mixed individually and as they are not pre-prepared mixes we can add or omit any ingredients you do or do not wish to have.

How far in advance do I need to order my wedding cake?

We prefer at least 3 months notice for ordering a wedding cake which contains any fruit tiers to allow our fruit cake to fully mature and 1 month notice for sponge tiers. We understand that sometimes people get let down by their cake decorator so we keep a small supply for short notice orders also.

Do I have to order one of the wedding cake designs from your website?

Not at all, we pride ourselves on designing new and unique wedding cakes and can create the wedding cake of your dreams, incorporating your colour scheme, ideas, and wishes. Just give us a call with no obligation, to discuss your cake requirements.

I like a cake design on your website but would like a different shape. Is this possible?

Yes, your wedding cake can be any shape you wish, round, square, diamond, heart, oval or even a combination if you wish.

How long can I keep my wedding cake, I would like to hold onto the top tier?

Any fruit tiers can be kept for twelve weeks if stored in a cool dry place. We don't recommend keeping it any longer than this but it's totally up to you.

Any cakes created in sponge should be consumed on the day, there is no preservatives added to any of our cakes to prolong shelf life.

Can you make bride & groom figures that look like us?

Yes, to a certain extent. Our figures are not sculptures or works of art but can be made to look similar in, build, hair/eye colour and clothes etc.

What are your decorative figures made from?

Our decorative figures are made from sugar paste which are attached to your cake and are edible.

Do you send cakes by courier?

No, we never send cakes by courier. We want you to have a cake that is in perfect condition when it arrives and prefer to over see the deliver of your cake ourselves.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

A deposit of £75 is required for a wedding cake and £25 for other celebration cakes, in order to secure your date and also any special offer agreed.

When is payment required?

The balance payable is due one month before your event. It is your responsibility to ensure that payment is made by this date but a reminder will be sent.

Can I view examples of your work?
